Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZDHHC16 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZDHHC16 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher ZDHHC16 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZDHHC16 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
COAD, PRAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where ZDHHC16 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
