Across TCGA patient cohorts, ZDHHC12 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 428 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible ZDHHC12-associated genes across cancer lineages are KATNAL1, PDGFRL, and CXCL12. Each is linked with ZDHHC12 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ZDHHC12-to-partner and partner-to-ZDHHC12 results are reported.
