Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZDHHC1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZDHHC1 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher ZDHHC1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZDHHC1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BLCA, UCEC, and STAD are the cancer types where ZDHHC1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
