Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZCCHC7 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZCCHC7 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher ZCCHC7 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZCCHC7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LSCC and PDAC are the cancer types where ZCCHC7 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
