Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZCCHC24 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ZCCHC24 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher ZCCHC24 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZCCHC24 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LGG and BRCA show a favorable association.

BLCA, LGG, and BRCA are the cancer types where ZCCHC24 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
