Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZC3H3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZC3H3 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher ZC3H3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZC3H3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SCLC show a favorable association.
KICH, UCEC, and LUAD are the cancer types where ZC3H3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
