Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZBTB8B RNA is linked to patient survival in 29 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ZBTB8B data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher ZBTB8B RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZBTB8B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and UVM show a favorable association.
LIHC, KIRC, and BRCA are the cancer types where ZBTB8B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
