Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZBTB8A RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ZBTB8A data layer compared with 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher ZBTB8A RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZBTB8A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and THYM show a favorable association.

ACC, LUAD, and THYM are the cancer types where ZBTB8A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
