Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZBTB7C mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZBTB7C data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher ZBTB7C mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZBTB7C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC are the cancer types where ZBTB7C mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
