Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZBTB7B RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ZBTB7B data layer compared with 7 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher ZBTB7B RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZBTB7B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as MESO and KIRC show a favorable association.
UVM, LGG, and MESO are the cancer types where ZBTB7B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
