Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZBTB7B mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZBTB7B data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher ZBTB7B mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZBTB7B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and LUAD show a favorable association.
PDAC, GBM, and CCRCC are the cancer types where ZBTB7B mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
