Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZBTB40 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZBTB40 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher ZBTB40 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZBTB40 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.

COAD, UCEC, and LGG are the cancer types where ZBTB40 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
