Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZBTB22 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ZBTB22 data layer compared with 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher ZBTB22 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZBTB22 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and ESCA show a favorable association.

COAD, KIRC, and ESCA are the cancer types where ZBTB22 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
