Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZBTB1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZBTB1 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher ZBTB1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZBTB1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and BLCA show a favorable association.
HNSC, SARC, and UCEC are the cancer types where ZBTB1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
