Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZBED4 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZBED4 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher ZBED4 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZBED4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

LUAD are the cancer types where ZBED4 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
