Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, YTHDF2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated YTHDF2 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in rectum adenocarcinoma (READ), where higher YTHDF2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated YTHDF2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
READ, BLCA, and PRAD are the cancer types where YTHDF2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
