Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, YTHDC1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated YTHDC1 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 9 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher YTHDC1 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated YTHDC1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and LSCC show a favorable association.

COAD, LSCC, and LUAD are the cancer types where YTHDC1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
