Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, YPEL5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated YPEL5 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher YPEL5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated YPEL5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
COAD, CHOL, and UCEC are the cancer types where YPEL5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
