Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, YPEL4 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated YPEL4 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher YPEL4 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated YPEL4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and UCS show a favorable association.
SKCM, UCS, and KIRP are the cancer types where YPEL4 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
