Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, YIPF5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated YIPF5 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher YIPF5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated YIPF5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM, GBM, and LUSC are the cancer types where YIPF5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
