Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, YIF1B mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated YIF1B data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher YIF1B mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated YIF1B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.

LUAD, PDAC, and CCRCC are the cancer types where YIF1B mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
