Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, YIF1A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated YIF1A data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher YIF1A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated YIF1A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC, SKCM, and COAD are the cancer types where YIF1A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
