Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, YIF1A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated YIF1A data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher YIF1A mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated YIF1A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

LSCC, HNSC, and PDAC are the cancer types where YIF1A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
