Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, YEATS2-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 28 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated YEATS2-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher YEATS2-AS1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated YEATS2-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and LAML show a favorable association.

KIRC, MESO, and THCA are the cancer types where YEATS2-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
