Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, YBX3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated YBX3 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher YBX3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated YBX3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
BLCA, UCEC, and ACC are the cancer types where YBX3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
