Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, XRCC5 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated XRCC5 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher XRCC5 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated XRCC5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and PDAC show a favorable association.

COAD, HNSC, and LSCC are the cancer types where XRCC5 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
