Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, XRCC4 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated XRCC4 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher XRCC4 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated XRCC4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM and PDAC show a favorable association.

GBM, CCRCC, and PDAC are the cancer types where XRCC4 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
