Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, XPOT mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated XPOT data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher XPOT mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated XPOT expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC and HNSC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, PDAC, and LSCC are the cancer types where XPOT mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
