Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, XPNPEP2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated XPNPEP2 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 10 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher XPNPEP2 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated XPNPEP2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and CCRCC show a favorable association.

COAD and CCRCC are the cancer types where XPNPEP2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
