Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, XPNPEP1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated XPNPEP1 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher XPNPEP1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated XPNPEP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, COAD, and SKCM are the cancer types where XPNPEP1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
