Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, XPC mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated XPC data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 9 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher XPC mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated XPC expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and COAD show a favorable association.

UCEC, CCRCC, and COAD are the cancer types where XPC mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
