Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, XPC-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated XPC-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher XPC-AS1 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated XPC-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and BLCA show a favorable association.

HNSC, BLCA, and UCS are the cancer types where XPC-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
