Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, XKRX Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated XKRX data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher XKRX Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated XKRX expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LGG and UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, OV, and SKCM are the cancer types where XKRX Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
