Across TCGA patient cohorts, XKRX protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 216 significant associations in total. LUAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible XKRX-associated genes across cancer lineages are HMGXB4, CD9, and ELOB. Each is linked with XKRX in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both XKRX-to-partner and partner-to-XKRX results are reported.
