Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, XK Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated XK data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher XK Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated XK expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRC, LUSC, and CESC are the cancer types where XK Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
