Across TCGA patient cohorts, XK mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 39 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible XK-associated genes across cancer lineages are PAI-1, HSP70, and TAZ. Each is linked with XK in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both XK-to-partner and partner-to-XK results are reported.
