Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, XCL2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated XCL2 data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher XCL2 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated XCL2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and HNSC show a favorable association.
SKCM, HNSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where XCL2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
