Across TCGA patient cohorts, WWTR1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 10,769 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible WWTR1-associated genes across cancer lineages are COMMD2, WWTR1-IT1, and MYL9. Each is linked with WWTR1 in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both WWTR1-to-partner and partner-to-WWTR1 results are reported.
