Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, WSB1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated WSB1 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher WSB1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated WSB1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
MESO, UCEC, and STAD are the cancer types where WSB1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
