Across TCGA patient cohorts, WRN mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,996 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible WRN-associated genes across cancer lineages are DNAJC8, ARF4, and PUDPP1. Each is linked with WRN in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both WRN-to-partner and partner-to-WRN results are reported.
