Across TCGA patient cohorts, WHAMM mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 22 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible WHAMM-associated genes across cancer lineages are eEF2, MEK1, and MSH2. Each is linked with WHAMM in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both WHAMM-to-partner and partner-to-WHAMM results are reported.
