The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher WFDC12 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated WFDC12 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC show a favorable association.
HNSC are the cancer types where WFDC12 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
