Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, WFDC10A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated WFDC10A data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher WFDC10A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated WFDC10A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM are the cancer types where WFDC10A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
