Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, WDSUB1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated WDSUB1 data layer compared with 17 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher WDSUB1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated WDSUB1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC, UCEC, and ACC are the cancer types where WDSUB1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
