Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, WDR87 RNA is linked to patient survival in 18 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated WDR87 data layer compared with 5 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher WDR87 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated WDR87 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UVM and UCS show a favorable association.
KIRP, UVM, and UCS are the cancer types where WDR87 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
