Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, WDR62 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated WDR62 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher WDR62 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated WDR62 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC show a favorable association.
HNSC, LSCC, and LUAD are the cancer types where WDR62 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
