Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, WDR53 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated WDR53 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher WDR53 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated WDR53 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD, UCEC, and COAD are the cancer types where WDR53 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
