Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, WDR48 RNA is linked to patient survival in 27 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated WDR48 data layer compared with 4 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher WDR48 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated WDR48 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and BRCA show a favorable association.

KIRC, BRCA, and LIHC are the cancer types where WDR48 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
