Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, WDR35 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated WDR35 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher WDR35 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated WDR35 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and PDAC show a favorable association.

HNSC, CCRCC, and LSCC are the cancer types where WDR35 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
