Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, WDR33 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated WDR33 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher WDR33 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated WDR33 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and UCEC show a favorable association.

HNSC, COAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where WDR33 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
